SSB HC Admit Card 2026 OUT: The Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) has issued the admit card for the Head Constable (Ministerial) position, pertaining to the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). Candidates who are set to participate in the tests on February 9 can obtain their hall tickets from the official website, ssb.gov.in, by entering their registration number and password.

The PET and PST commenced on January 28, 2026, with further phases extending into February 2026. The SSB has now made available the admit cards for candidates whose PET and PST are scheduled for February 9, 2026.

Recruitment and Vacancy Details

This recruitment initiative is organized by the Ministry of Home Affairs to fill 115 vacancies for the Head Constable (Ministerial) role. These positions are classified as Group-‘C’ Non-Gazetted Ministerial (Combatised) roles. The distribution of vacancies is as follows:

  • Un-Reserved (UR): 47 
  • EWS: 11 
  • OBC: 26 
  • SC: 21 
  • ST: 10 

Ex-Servicemen: 10% of the total vacancies are allocated for this category.  

Physical Standards and Efficiency Tests

Candidates must meet specific physical criteria to qualify:

 Physical Efficiency Test (PET):

  • Male Candidates: A 1.6 km race must be completed within 6 minutes and 30 seconds.
  • Female Candidates: An 800-meter race is to be finished in 4 minutes.

Note: Ex-servicemen are exempt from the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) but are required to participate in the Physical Standard Test (PST) and subsequent stages.

Physical Standard Test (PST):

• General/OBC/SC/EWS (Male): A minimum height of 165 cms and a chest measurement of 77 cms (with a minimum expansion of 5 cm).

• General/OBC/SC/EWS (Female): A minimum height of 155 cms.

Height relaxations are available for candidates from designated hilly regions (162.5 cms for males; 150 cms for females) and for Scheduled Tribes (162.5 cms for males; 150 cms for females).

Mandatory Documentation At Venue

On the day of the PET/PST, candidates are required to report to the designated venue with:

  • A clear and readable printout of their admit card.
  • A valid photo identification proof.
  • A printout of the acknowledgment of the online application form.

Failure to present these documents will lead to disqualification from the recruitment process.

Pay Scale and Benefits

Selected candidates will be assigned to Level-4 of the pay matrix, with a basic salary ranging from Rs.25,500 to Rs.81,100 per month. Furthermore, they will be entitled to allowances such as Dearness Allowance, Ration Money, and Washing Allowance in accordance with government regulations.
