SBI Circle Based Officer Recruitment 2026: Online Application Form 2273 Positions, Notification

The State Bank of India (SBI), which is the largest Public Sector Bank in India, is inviting online applications from qualified Indian Citizens for the position of Circle Based Officer (CBO) in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I). Candidates who are selected will be assigned to the Circle for which they have applied. The recruitment for SBI Circle Based Officer 2026 encompasses 2273 positions (including Regular and Backlog), with online registration commencing on 29th January 2026 and concluding on 18th February 2026.

Educational Qualification	Graduation in any discipline from recognised University or equivalent (including Integrated Dual Degree). Candidates with Medical, Engineering, CA, Cost Accountant qualifications are also eligible.
Experience (as on 31.12.2025)	Minimum 2 years as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank (listed in Second Schedule of RBI).
Local Language Proficiency	Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing, understanding) in any specified local language of the applied Circle.
