North Central Railway Scouts and Guides Recruitment 2025: Online Application Form 08 Vacancies

North Central Railway (NCR), Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Prayagraj has published employment notification for recruitment against Scouts and Guides Quota (Open Advertisement) for the post of Group ‘C’ and Erstwhile Group ‘D’ on NCR for the year 2025-26. The closing date for registration of online applications is 21st October 2025.

How to Apply:

• Qualified applicants must submit their applications via the North Central Railway RRC online application portal (rrcncr.in).
• Applicants should verify that their Name, Father’s Name, and Date of Birth precisely correspond to what is recorded in their Matriculation or equivalent certificate.
• Candidates must upload a scanned copy of their Signature (in either English or Hindi), Photograph, and any other necessary documents. The deadline for completing online registration is 21/10/2025 by 23:59 Hours.

Eligibility:

The applicant must hold the following certificates to validate his/her Scouts & Guides qualification:-

1. A President’s Scout/Guide/Ranger/Rover OR a Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) Holder in any section;
2. Must have been an active participant in a Scouts organization for a minimum of 5 years. The ‘Certificate of Activeness’ should conform to Annexure ‘C’.
3. Must have participated in two events at the National level OR All India Railways’ level AND two events at the State level.

Educational Qualifications:

• Pay Matrix Level–2 (GP Rs.1900): 12th Pass with 50% marks (relaxable for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen or higher qualified candidates).
• Technical Posts: 10th + ITI/Apprenticeship (NCVT/SCVT).
• Pay Matrix Level–1 (GP Rs.1800): 10th Pass / ITI / NAC from NCVT.

Pay Scales:

• Level 2, Grade Pay Rs.1900/-
• Level 1, Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

Age Limit:

• Candidates seeking Grade Pay of Rs.1900 (Pay Matrix Level – 02), categorized as No.1, must be between the ages of 18 and 30 as of 01.01.2026. (This means they should have been born no earlier than 01.01.1996 and no later than 01.01.2008)
• Candidates applying for Grade Pay of Rs.1800 (Pay Matrix Level – 01), categorized as No.2, should be aged between 18 and 33 as of 01.01.2026. (This indicates they must have been born no earlier than 01.01.1993 and no later than 01.01.2008)
• Upper Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PwBD.

Application Fee:

• The Exam fee should be paid through online mode using internet banking or debit/ credit card.
• Rs.500/- for General Candidates;
• Rs.250/- for Candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), Women, Minorities and Economic Backward Classes with a provision for refunding the same to those who actually appear in the written examination.

• Written test – 60 Marks
• Marks on Certificates – 40 Marks
