PFRDA Officer Grade ‘A’ Pay Scale:

Pay Scale: Rs.44,500 – 89,150 (17 years). Gross emoluments approximately Rs.1,57,000/- per month, including allowances like NPS contribution, Grade Allowance, Dearness Allowance, and others as per PFRDA rules.

PFRDA Officer Grade ‘A’ Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit (as on 31/07/2025):

• Maximum 30 years (born on or after 01/08/1995).
• Relaxations: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), 10 years for PwBD, 13 years for PwBD (OBC), 15 years for PwBD (SC/ST), 5 years for Ex-servicemen.
• Cumulative relaxations applicable for eligible candidates.

Educational Qualifications (as on 31/07/2025):

• General: Master’s Degree in any discipline, Bachelor’s Degree in Law/Engineering, or ACA/FCA (ICAI), ACS/FCS (ICSI), ACMA/FCMA (ICMAI), CFA (CFA Institute).
• Finance and Accounts: Graduation + ACA/FCA (ICAI), ACS/FCS (ICSI), ACMA/FCMA (ICMAI), or CFA (CFA Institute).
• Information Technology (AI/ML): Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics & Communication/IT/Computer Science), MCA, or Bachelor’s Degree with 2-year PG in Computers/IT, preferably with AI/ML specialization.
• Legal: Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
• Actuary: Graduation + Pass/Exemption in all 7 Core Principles subjects of Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI).
• Official Language (Rajbhasha): Master’s Degree in Hindi with English at Bachelor’s level, or Master’s in Sanskrit/English/Economics/Commerce with Hindi at Bachelor’s level.
• Research (Economics/Statistics): Master’s Degree in Statistics/Economics/Commerce/Business Administration (Finance)/Econometrics.

PFRDA Officer Grade ‘A’ Selection Process:

• Phase I (Online Screening): Two papers (100 marks each): Paper 1 (English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness, 60 min); Paper 2 (Stream-specific MCQs, 40 min). Negative marking (1/4th marks).
• Phase II (Online Exam): Two papers (100 marks each): Paper 1 (English Descriptive, 60 min); Paper 2 (Stream-specific MCQs, 40 min). Negative marking for Paper 2. Paper 1 evaluated only if Paper 2 is cleared.
• Phase III (Interview): In Hindi/English. Final selection: Phase II (85% weightage) + Interview (15% weightage).
• Document Verification: Original certificates required at interview. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD candidates must submit valid certificates.

PFRDA Officer Grade ‘A’ Application Fee:

• Payment via online mode (Debit/Credit Cards, Net Banking, IMPS, Mobile Wallets).
• Rs.1000/- (inclusive of GST) for UR/GEN, EWS, OBC.
• Nil for SC/ST/PwBD/Women.
