Educational Qualifications:

• Candidates must be registered as Medical Practitioners with the Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council.
• The MBBS degree is listed in the First Schedule, Second Schedule, or Part-II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).
• Those selected are required to register with the West Bengal Medical Council within six months of commencing their service in the West Bengal Health Service.

Age Limit:

• Not more than 36 years for MBBS graduates and 40 years for candidates with postgraduate qualifications as on 01/01/2025.
• Upper age relaxation: 2 years for otherwise well-qualified and experienced candidates.

Salary:

• Basic Pay: Rs.56,100/- per month in Pay Matrix Level-16 as per WBS (ROPA) Rules, 2019.

Application Fee:

• For General/OBC Candidates: Rs.210/- (Inclusive of GST).
• For SC/ST/PwBD Candidates of West Bengal: No fee.
• Payment Method: Online through Banks participating in the GRIPS (Govt. Receipt Portal System).
