NIT Kurukshetra Recruitment 2025: Online Application Form 44 Non-Teaching Positions

The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Kurukshetra has issued an official announcement regarding the recruitment of 44 Non-Teaching Positions, which include roles such as Junior Engineer, Technical Assistant, Senior Stenographer, among others, and is inviting applications from Indian Nationals.

Eligible candidates are required to submit their applications online via the NIT Kurukshetra Recruitment Portal (nitkkrnt.samarth.edu.in) between 18th August 2025 and 30th September 2025 (11:59 p.m.). Following the online submission, candidates must forward a hard copy of their application, accompanied by self-attested copies of relevant certificates/documents, to the specified address indicated in the official notification by 6th October 2025 (05:30 p.m.). It is necessary to submit separate applications for each position.

Educational Qualifications:

• Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical): A first-class B.E./B.Tech. degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering, or a first-class Diploma in Civil or Electrical Engineering, accompanied by an outstanding academic record.
• Library & Information Assistant: A first-class Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Arts, or Commerce, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science. Desirable: PGDCA or an equivalent qualification.
• Technical Assistant: A first-class B.E./B.Tech./MCA degree or a Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline, or a first-class Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Science (Chemistry) with the required marks.
• Personal Assistant: A Bachelor’s Degree with a stenography speed of 100 words per minute.
• Senior Stenographer: Completion of 10+2 with a stenography speed of 100 words per minute. Desirable: A Bachelor’s Degree and proficiency in computer skills.
• Stenographer: Completion of 10+2 with a stenography speed of 80 words per minute. Desirable: Proficiency in computer skills.
• Senior Assistant/Junior Assistant: Completion of 10+2 with a typing speed of 35 words per minute and proficiency in computer word processing and spreadsheets. Desirable: A Bachelor’s Degree and stenography skills.
• Senior Technician/Technician: Completion of 10+2 with at least 50% marks and a 1-year ITI, or completion of 10th grade with at least 60% marks and a 2-year ITI, or a 3-year Diploma in a relevant engineering field, or completion of 10+2 with at least 60% marks in Science (Chemistry).
• Students Activity & Sports Assistant: A first-class Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education, demonstrating significant involvement in sports, drama, music, films, painting, photography, journalism, or event management.

Age Limit: [as on 30/09/2025]

• Junior Engineer, Technical Assistant, Students Activity & Sports Assistant, Library & Information Assistant, Personal Assistant: Age limit not to exceed 30 years.
• Senior Stenographer, Senior Assistant, Senior Technician: Age limit not to exceed 33 years.
• Stenographer, Junior Assistant, Technician: Age limit not to exceed 27 years.
• Relaxation: Up to 5 years for Departmental Candidates; further relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD in accordance with Government regulations.

Salary:

• Level-6 Posts (Junior Engineer, Technical Assistant, Students Activity & Sports Assistant, Library & Information Assistant, Personal Assistant): Rs.35,400 – Rs.1,12,400/- per month.
• Level-5 Posts (Senior Stenographer): Rs.29,200 – Rs.92,300/- per month.
• Level-4 Posts (Stenographer, Senior Assistant, Senior Technician): Rs.25,500 – Rs.81,100/- per month.
• Level-3 Posts (Junior Assistant, Technician): Rs.21,700 – Rs.69,100/- per month.
