Eligibility Criteria:

• Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – General: A Bachelor’s degree in any field or its equivalent, or a Postgraduate degree in any discipline or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DEPR: A Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or an equivalent qualification.
• Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR) – DSIM: A Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Mathematical Economics, Econometrics, or Statistics & Informatics; or a Master’s degree in Mathematics; or a Master’s degree in Data Science, AI, ML, or Big Data Analytics; or a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Data Science/AI/ML/Big Data Analytics; or a 2-year Postgraduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA).

Salary:

• Basic Pay: Rs.55,200/- per month on the scale of Rs.55,200 – 2,850(9) – 80,850 – EB – 2,850(2) – 86,550 – 3,300(4) – 99,750 (16 years).
• Additional Benefits: Special Allowance, Grade Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, Special Grade Allowance, Learning Allowance, and House Rent Allowance as per RBI rules.

Age Limit:

• Age Limit: 21-30 years as on 01/09/2025.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, Ex-Servicemen/Former Employees: Up to 5 years.

Selection Process:

The selection process for RBI Grade B Officer 2025 includes the following stages:

Phase I: Online/Written Examination (Objective, 200 marks, 120 minutes).

Phase II: Three papers:

• Paper-I: Economic and Social Issues (50% Objective, 50% Descriptive, 100 marks)
• Paper-II: English (Writing Skills, 100 marks)
• Paper-III: General Finance and Management (50% Objective, 50% Descriptive, 100 marks)

Interview: Personal Interview for shortlisted candidates.
