Jharkhand Home Guard Recruitment 2025: Online Application Form 1463 Vacancies

The District Commandant of Jharkhand Grih Raksha Vahini in Chatra has announced a recruitment campaign for volunteer Home Guards under Notification No. 01/2025. Jharkhand Home Guard Recruitment 2025 – 463 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria:

• Domicile: Applicants from rural areas must be permanent residents of the designated block in Chatra district; those from urban areas must live in the urban regions of Chatra.
• Educational Qualification: For rural applicants: At least a pass in Class 7; for urban applicants (both Non-Technical and Technical): At least a pass in Class 10 (Matric).
• Physical Standards: Height – Male: 162 cm (UR/OBC/BC), 157 cm (SC/ST); Female: 148 cm (all categories). Chest measurement (Male only): 79 cm (UR/OBC/BC), 76 cm (SC/ST).
• Urban Technical Specific: Candidates must have recognized practical skills or employment in fields such as medicine, engineering, law, teaching, nursing, driving (HMV/LMV), cooking, carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, etc.

Age Limit:

• Minimum 19 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2025 for all categories.
• Upper age relaxation applicable as per government norms for reserved categories.

Pay Scale:

• This position is voluntary and does not offer a fixed salary. Compensation will be provided only for days of actual duty, in accordance with the current government rates.
• This role is not designed to serve as a primary income source; applicants are expected to dedicate themselves to voluntary public service.
