SVNIT Recruitment 2025: Online Application Form Non-Teaching Positions

Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology Surat (SVNIT) is calling for online applications from qualified Indian Nationals for direct recruitment to Non-Teaching positions. These include roles like Assistant Registrar, Students Activity & Sports Officer, Assistant Librarian, Superintendent, Junior Engineer (Civil), Technical Assistant (Computer Science), Junior Assistant, and Senior Assistant across various departments/sections of the Institute. SVNIT, which was set up by the Government of India, provides UG, PG, and Ph.D. programs in Engineering/Technology and Sciences.

The SVNIT Vacancy 2025 Notification came out on 30th September 2025, and the online application form will be open from 3rd October 2025 until 14th November 2025. Candidates who are interested and meet the eligibility criteria should thoroughly read the detailed SVNIT notification before completing the application form. After submitting online, hard copies need to be mailed to arrive by 21st November 2025.

How to Apply:

The SVNIT Online Registration will be done via the SVNIT Online Application Portal (svnitnt.samarth.edu.in). Here’s how to go about the SVNIT Vacancy Online Registration Process:-

• Step 1: Register for the Online Application Form – Candidates need to fill in their personal details, generate an Application Number, and create a password.
• Step 2: Fill out the Application Form – Candidates can log in using the Application Number and password generated by the system. They should upload a scanned copy of their recent photograph, signature, etc., and pay the application fee online.
• Step 3: The final step is to submit the Application Form before the closing date. Make sure to download a copy of the submitted application form along with its enclosures, including self-attested photocopies of certificates/testimonials, and proof of the application fee. Send everything to the Registrar, SVNIT, Ichchhanath, Dumas Road, Surat – 395 007, Gujarat via Speed/Registered Post, ensuring it arrives by 21st November 2025. Students Activity & Sports Officer (Group A)	Master’s Degree in Physical Education or Sports Science with 60% marks; Record of sports representation; Qualifying national test; Physical fitness test.
Assistant Librarian (Group A)	Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation with 60% marks; Knowledge of computerized library service; Qualifying NET/SLET/SET.
Superintendent (Group B)	First Class Bachelor’s Degree; Knowledge of Computer applications (Word processing, Spreadsheet).
Junior Engineer (Civil) (Group B)	First Class B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering OR First Class Diploma in Civil Engineering with excellent record.
Technical Assistant (Computer Science) (Group B)	First Class B.E./B.Tech./MCA in IT/CSE/CE OR First Class Diploma in IT/CSE/CE OR First Class B.Sc. in IT/CS OR Master’s in IT/CS with 50% marks.
Junior Assistant (Group C)	Senior Secondary (10+2); Typing speed 35 w.p.m.; Proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spreadsheet.
