How to Apply:

The NSIL Pre-Registration for Walk-in Selection will be conducted via the official portal or QR Code. The steps for the NSIL Recruitment Process are as follows:-

• Step 1: Candidates who are interested must pre-register using the QR Code included in the notification PDF or through the NSIL official website by 30th November 2025, at 6:00 PM.
• Step 2: It is essential to prepare and bring original documents and certificates (including Educational Qualifications, Experience Certificates, Age Proof, Community Certificate, and PwD Certificate if applicable) to the walk-in interview.
• Step 3: Candidates should attend the walk-in interview at the specified venues (Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Trivandrum) during the first week of December 2025. Venue information will be provided based on the applications received.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Project Scientist (PS-01): A Doctoral Degree in Science (Agriculture, Environmental, Geospatial) or a Master’s Degree in Engineering/Technology (Remote Sensing/GIS/Geoinformatics/Agricultural Engineering/Civil Engineering or equivalent) from an accredited university is required. A first-class standing in both Graduation and Post Graduation is essential. A minimum of one year of experience in Remote Sensing/GIS/Geospatial Data Analysis within the field of Agriculture is necessary.
• Project Engineers (PE-01): Candidates must possess a B.Tech/BE in Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Instrumentation/Mechanical/Aerospace, along with one year of experience in Test & Evaluation/QA activities related to Avionic packages/Launch Vehicle Mechanical Systems. Familiarity with electronic instruments such as DMM, Function Generator, Oscilloscope, etc., is required.
• Project Assistant (PA-01): A Diploma in Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics & Instrumentation/Mechanical is required, along with one year of experience in Test & Evaluation/QA activities concerning Avionic packages/Launch Vehicle Mechanical Systems. Knowledge of electronic devices like DMM, Function Generator, Oscilloscope, etc., is necessary.

Age Limit:

• Project Scientist: UR – 40 years; OBC – 43 years; SC/ST – 45 years; PwD – As per GOI guidelines (as on 31.10.2025).
• Project Engineers / Project Assistant: UR – 35 years; OBC – 38 years; SC/ST – 40 years; PwD – As per GOI guidelines (as on 31.10.2025).
