Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has issued a significant update concerning the missing information of candidates for the UP Home Guard Recruitment 2025.
The board indicated that some applicants who submitted their applications before December 1, 2025, were unable to complete sub-points 2 and 5 of Point 15 (“Additional Details”). These individuals will have the opportunity to make corrections once the application process concludes. UPPRPB stated that detailed information regarding the correction process will be provided shortly.
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has called for applications for 41,424 Home Guard vacancies throughout the state. The application period will end on December 17, 2025.
Candidates with any form of physical health issues or a criminal record are disqualified from applying. It is mandatory to be a resident of the area from which the application is submitted.
Applicants must have completed Class 10 from a recognized board. The minimum age requirement is 18 years, while the maximum age limit is 30 years. Age relaxation will be provided according to government regulations.
Application Fee:
- Rs.400 for General, Economically Weaker Section, and Other Backward Classes
- Rs.300 for Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste
Following the review of the application forms, candidates will be invited to participate in a written examination that will cover General Knowledge. The test will consist of 100 questions worth 100 marks, and candidates will have 2 hours to complete it.
