The CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION (CBSE), an Autonomous Organization under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has declared the Direct Recruitment Quota Examination 2026 (DRQ2026) to fill 124 Group A, B & C positions on an All India Competitive basis. Eligible Indian citizens may submit their applications online from December 2, 2025, to December 22, 2025.

Applications are accepted exclusively through the online mode via the CBSE Recruitment Portal. Please adhere to the following steps for a successful submission:
Step 1: Access the official apply online link starting from 02.12.2025 and complete the registration process using a valid email address and mobile number.
Step 2: Accurately fill in your personal, educational, and category information; upload a scanned photograph, signature, and the necessary documents as specified in the notification.
Step 3: Choose the post code(s) for which you wish to apply (candidates may apply for multiple positions if they meet the eligibility criteria).
Step 4: Remit the application/processing fee online using a Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI before 22.12.2025 (11:59 PM).
Step 5: Submit the application form and print a copy of the application acknowledgment for your records.
Essential Qualifications:
Assistant Secretary (Group A): A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institution.
Assistant Professor & Assistant Director (Academics/Training/Skill Education) (Group A): A Post Graduate Degree with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for candidates from reserved categories).
Accounts Officer (Group A): A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Commerce, Accounts, Finance, Business Studies, Cost Accounting, or an equivalent qualification (SAS/JAO, PG in a related field, MBA Finance, CA, or ICWA).
Superintendent (Group B): A Bachelor’s Degree along with a working knowledge of computers (MS Office, etc.).
Junior Translation Officer (Group B): A Master’s Degree in Hindi or English or an equivalent qualification, along with a Diploma or three years of experience in translation.
Junior Accountant (Group C): Completion of 12th Class with subjects such as Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, or Commerce, plus Typing skills of 35 wpm in English and 30 wpm in Hindi.
Junior Assistant (Group C): Completion of 12th Class or an equivalent qualification, plus Typing skills of 35 wpm in English and 30 wpm in Hindi.

Assistant Professor & Assistant Director (Academics/Training/Skill Education) (Group A) → Maximum 30 years
Superintendent / Junior Translation Officer (Group B) → Maximum 30 years
