The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will soon finalize the correction window for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Candidates are encouraged to visit the official website to make any necessary corrections.
The CTET examination is scheduled for February 8, 2026, with results expected to be released by the end of March 2026. Admit cards will be available two days prior to the examination.
According to the board, the correction window will close in two days on December 26. After this date, no corrections will be permitted under any circumstances.
It is noteworthy that the CTET has set new records for registration this year. The board reported, “During the final three days of application submission, specifically on December 16th, 17th, and 18th, 2025, the number of candidates registered was 1,93,182, 3,53,218, and 4,14,981 respectively.” This information was shared by the board on X.
Over the 22-day period allocated for online application submissions for CTET, from November 11, 2025, to December 18, 2025, a total of 25,30,436 candidates successfully completed their online applications for the CTET scheduled for February 2026,” the board stated, adding, “In the previous two CTET examinations held in July 2024 and December 2024, the total number of registered candidates was 20,25,554 and 16,72,748 respectively.
