
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has issued the city intimation slip for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) 2025. Candidates who have registered for the examination can download their slips via the Email or SMS they received.
The FMGE admit card will be available online on January 14, 2026, while the exam will be held on January 17, 2026.
Ahead of the exam, NBEMS has extended the deadline for submitting the deficient documents that are required for determination of eligibility of the candidates. According to an official announcement, candidates may now submit these documents by January 7, 2026, at 11:55 PM.
Examination Scheme
The examination consists of a single paper containing 300 multiple-choice questions, which will be conducted in a computer-based format. Each question will present four response options, and candidates must select the correct or most appropriate answer from these options. To pass the exam, a candidate must achieve a minimum score of 150 out of 300.
The paper will be divided into two parts, both to be completed on the same day, with each part containing 150 questions to be answered within 150 minutes. A scheduled break will occur between the two parts.

The syllabus for the examination will include subjects and knowledge areas as outlined in the Competency Based Undergraduate Curriculum published by the National Medical Commission for the MBBS Course.
