The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is currently accepting applications from qualified individuals for an online program focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in medical education.
This program is specifically designed to assist postgraduate medical trainees and faculty in comprehending, critically assessing, and responsibly incorporating AI tools into both clinical practice and academic environments. Applicants are not required to possess any technical or programming expertise to enroll in the course.
Eligibility
The program is available to ongoing trainees of NBEMS, alumni who have graduated from the 2020 session onwards, faculty members from NBEMS accredited departments, and other professionals.
Key features
The curriculum will consist of 20 modules delivered over a six-month period in a LIVE online format. The sessions will emphasize clinical applicability, ethics, patient safety, and accountability.
Participants who attend a minimum of 75 percent of the live classes, with attendance recorded at both the beginning and conclusion of each session, will qualify for a digital Course Completion Certificate. Attendance at recorded sessions will not count towards eligibility for course completion certification.
The course will be instructed by faculty members from prestigious national and international institutions, including Mayo Clinic, Harvard University, University of Oxford, IISc Bengaluru, IIM Lucknow, and other esteemed organizations.
Fee
