The All India Management Association (AIMA) has initiated the online registration process for the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) for the February 2025 session. Candidates intending to take the MAT 2025 examination for admission into B-schools can access the official AIMA website. The examination will be conducted in two formats: Paper-Based Test (PBT) and Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Graduates from any field or final-year students of undergraduate programs are eligible to apply for the entrance examination. The deadline for submitting online applications for the PBT format is February 23, 2026, whereas the deadline for the CBT format is March 2, 2026. The registration fee for either the PBT or CBT is Rs.2,200, while the fee for both PBT and CBT combined is Rs.3,800.

Admit cards for the PBT format will be issued starting February 26, 2026, while those for the CBT format will be released on March 5, 2026.

The MAT in PBT format is scheduled for March 1, 2026, and the CBT format will take place on March 8, 2026. The results of the MAT are anticipated to be published in the last week of March.

Paper format

The examination will include questions from the following sections:

Language Comprehension, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, and Economic & Business Environment.

Essential documents required for the examination include:

  • Valid Email Id
  • Scanned image of photograph (10 to 50 kb)
  • Scanned image of signature (5 to 20 kb)
  • Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card) or Net Banking information.

The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardized national-level examination that has been conducted since 1988 to assist Business Schools (B-Schools) in screening candidates for admission to MBA and related programs.
