Assam Police Constable Recruitment 2026: Online Application Form 1715 Vacancies

The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) in Assam, located in Guwahati, has announced the opening of online applications for qualified candidates who have completed their 10th or 12th grade. Applications must be submitted online via the official portal. Please adhere to the following steps meticulously:

• Step 1: Access the apply online link apcap.in starting from 16th December 2025.
• Step 2: Register only once using the exact name as it appears on the HSLC Certificate, along with Father’s/Mother’s name, a valid mobile number, Employment Exchange Number, Highest Qualification, Permanent District, Gender, Caste/Category, Date of Birth, and Aadhaar Number. Multiple registrations will result in cancellation.
• Step 3: Once registered, an Application ID will be generated. Utilize this ID to complete the form and upload the necessary documents.
• Step 4: Ensure that the application is submitted on or before 16th January 2026.
• Step 5: Safeguard the Application ID and print a copy for your records.

Eligibility Criteria:

• An Indian citizen and Permanent Resident of Assam (proof to be provided after selection, exempt for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC).
• Enrolled with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
• Proficient in speaking Assamese or any other regional language.
• Educational qualifications: Constable (UB) – H.S. or Class XII from a recognized Board/Council; Constable (AB) – H.S.L.C or Class X/Matriculation from a recognized Board/Council.

Age Limit:

• 18-25 years as on 01-01-2026 (born not before 01-01-2001 and not later than 01-01-2008).
• Relaxations: SC/ST(P)/ST(H) – 5 years; OBC/MOBC – 3 years; Home Guards/VDPs/Civil Defence (3+ years’ service) – Additional 3 years; FMMOs/SPOs – Additional 10 years.
