Border Roads Organisation Recruitment 2025: Offline Application Form 542 MSW, Vehicle Machine Positions

The Government of India, through the Ministry of Defence and the Border Roads Organisation (BRO), along with the General Reserve Engineer Force (GREF), has published the official notification for the recruitment of Multi Skilled Workers (MSW – Painter & DES) and Vehicle Mechanics for the year 2025. This announcement appears in the Employment News Paper dated 11th October 2025. The BRO is inviting offline applications from qualified Male Indian Citizens to fill a total of 542 current and backlog vacancies in GREF.

How to Apply:

• The BRO Recruitment 2025 applications are only accepted in offline mode.
• Eligible candidates are required to download the specified application format from the official website and submit the completed form along with the necessary documents and fee (if applicable) to “Commandant, GREF Centre, Dighi Camp, Pune – 411015”.
• The postal cover must be marked with “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ____ CATEGORY UR /SC /ST / OBC /EWS / PwBD / ESM / CPL, WEIGHTAGE PERCENTAGE IN ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION _____”. All applications should arrive by 24th November 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Vehicle Mechanic: Matriculation + Certificate in relevant trade from ITI/ITC/NCTC or equivalent; Proficiency in trade test; Physical & Medical standards as per BRO.
• MSW (Painter / DES): Matriculation + Proficiency test in trade; Physical tests; Physical & Medical standards as per BRO.

Age Limit: (Tentative)

• All Posts: 18-25 Yrs.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years, As per Govt. of India Rules
