BPSC LDC Recruitment 2025: Online Application for 26 Positions

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is inviting online applications in the specified format from qualified Indian candidates for the recruitment of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) to fill a total of 26 vacant positions in the BPSC office located in Patna, as per Advertisement No. 43/2025. How to Apply for BPSC LDC Recruitment 2025:

• Qualified applicants are required to submit their applications online via the official BPSC website (bpsconline.bihar.gov.in) between the dates of 08th July 2025 and 29th July 2025.
• Candidates should provide their personal, educational, and technical qualification information in the online application form.
• It is necessary for candidates to complete the One Time Registration (OTR) on the BPSC website prior to submitting their application.
• Scanned copies of necessary documents (such as educational certificates, photographs, and signatures) must be uploaded in the specified format.
• The application fee should be paid using the available online payment methods.

BPSC LDC Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Intermediate (Matriculation + 12th pass) from a recognized board.

Technical Qualification:

• Proficiency in Computer Operation and Computer Typing.

Age Limit (as of 01/08/2025):

• Age of Superannuation: 60 years
• Backward Class/Extremely Backward Class (Male and Female), Unreserved Female: 40 years
• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (Male and Female): 42 years

BPSC LDC Application Fee:

• Payment via online mode (Debit/Credit Card, UPI, Net Banking). Non-refundable.
• General Candidates: Rs.600/-
• Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes of Bihar, Female Candidates (Reserved/Unreserved, Permanent Residents of Bihar), Disabled Candidates (40% or more): Rs.150/-
• All Other Candidates: Rs.600/-

BPSC LDC Selection Process:

• Preliminary Examination: One paper on General Knowledge, including:
  • General Studies: 50 questions
  • General Science and Mathematics: 50 questions
  • Mental Ability Test (Comprehension/Logic/Reasoning/Mental Ability): 50 questions
• Typing and Computer Proficiency Test: Qualifying test.
• Merit List: Prepared based on marks obtained in the main (written) examination after qualifying the Typing and Computer Proficiency Test.
