Delhi University Hostel Admission 2025-26: Admission committees will not provide individual notifications regarding interaction dates or admission outcomes.

Delhi University is presently accepting applications for hostel admission for the academic year 2025-26. Students who wish to secure accommodation in university hostels must ensure their applications are submitted by August 12 at 5:30 PM. It is recommended that applicants thoroughly review the seat distribution information available on the official hostel websites prior to completing the application form.

Application Process:

• Applicants are required to provide self-attested copies of the following documents together with their photographs:
• Merit or entrance admission list from their respective department
• Fee receipt for course admission
• Mark sheet of the most recently completed examination
• Documents verifying reserved category status, if applicable
• Matriculation certificate indicating date of birth
• For research scholars, a letter from the BRS confirming the registration date
• Evidence of permanent residency (such as a domicile certificate, Aadhaar card, voter ID, ration card, passport, or driving license)
• Self-verified proof of residence from the local guardian or financial guarantor
• Residence and Character certificate from the former hostel warden, if relevant

Important Instructions:

• All details provided on the form must be precise and complete. Applications that are incomplete or contain errors will be denied.
• Admission is only applicable for the current academic session.
• Candidates are required to be physically present for the interaction process with original documents; admission will not be granted without this interaction.
• It is essential to mention the rank or merit number wherever relevant.
• At the time of admission, two affidavits from local guardians on Rs.100 stamp paper must be submitted.
• Copies of the Aadhaar of the parents must be provided during the admission process.
• Candidates are required to select their gender and preferred hostel prior to advancing with the application.

Registration Fee Information:

A registration fee of Rs.100 is necessary for applying to a single hostel. For applications to multiple hostels, an additional fee of Rs.50 is required for each extra hostel. Payments should be processed online using the bank details available on the application portal. Candidates are required to upload the payment receipt that clearly displays the transaction number and date.

Students are recommended to thoroughly read all instructions and confirm that they fulfill the eligibility criteria prior to applying. The absence of documents or provision of incorrect information may result in the cancellation of admission.
