Delhi University MBA Admissions 2026: The Department of Commerce, Faculty of Commerce and Business, Delhi School of Economics (DSE), University of Delhi, has commenced the application process for admission to its MBA programmes for the academic session 2026-27. Eligible candidates may submit their applications online until January 19, 2026. Admissions are available for the MBA (International Business), MBA (Human Resource Development), and MBA (Business Analytics) programmes. The selection will be carried out through a multi-stage process that relies on CAT 2025 scores, followed by a Group Discussion and a Personal Interview.

Selection Process

The admission procedure entails completing the online application form and paying the required fee, followed by the shortlisting of candidates for GD and/or PI based on CAT 2025 scores. The Admission Committee will determine the CAT cut-off. Candidates who are shortlisted will be invited for GD/PI, during which a physical verification of original documents will take place. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria or fail to present valid documents will have their applications disqualified.

The final merit list will be compiled by the Admission Committee based on a composite score, as outlined in the admission brochure. Seats will be allocated strictly according to the merit list and the programme preferences indicated by candidates during the application process. Once submitted, preferences cannot be altered under any circumstances.

Eligibility Criteria

Indian applicants are required to possess a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delhi or an equivalent recognized university, with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks, with relaxations for reserved categories in accordance with University regulations. Candidates who are in their final year of their bachelor’s degree are also eligible to apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria at the time of admission. Applicants must have taken the CAT 2025 examination conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management.

International applicants will be evaluated according to the designated quota for foreign students and are required to submit their applications via the Foreign Students’ Registry portal. Foreign nationals must achieve a minimum GMAT score of 650. Additionally, individuals holding foreign degrees are obligated to provide valid TOEFL scores. Further requirements are applicable for candidates who are applying through Indian embassies or consulates.

GD/PI and Final Merit List

Shortlisting for GD and/or PI will be determined exclusively by CAT 2025 scores. The final merit list will be compiled using a composite score that includes the CAT score, academic performance, Group Discussion, Personal Interview, and Extempore performance. An additional five marks will be granted to eligible women candidates who do not belong to supernumerary seats.

Candidates whose names are listed in the merit list will be invited for counselling. Those who are allotted seats will receive a payment link for the course fee, which must be settled within the specified deadline. Failure to comply will lead to automatic cancellation of admission. In the event of vacant seats, the Department will initiate an automatic upgradation process based on the original programme preferences.

Course Fee

For Indian students, the annual fee for MBA (IB), MBA (HRD), and MBA (BA) programmes is Rs.57,279, according to notifications from the University of Delhi. Fees are subject to change by the University. Foreign students will be required to pay an annual fee of US$ 3,500.
