How to Apply:

The application process for the DRDO DIBT is conducted offline. To begin, download the application form from the notification PDF and adhere to the following steps:-

• Step 1: Obtain and complete the Application Form from the official DRDO website.
• Step 2: Include self-attested copies of all educational certificates, the NET/GATE scorecard, experience certificates (if applicable), and a recent passport-sized photograph.
• Step 3: Government employees are required to apply through the proper channel and must present a No Objection Certificate (NOC) during the interview.
• Step 4: Submit the completed application to The Centre Head, Defence Institute of Biodefence Technologies (DIBT), Siddarthanagar, Mysore-570011 by the deadline of 26th October 2025.
• Note: Original documents, photocopies, and a valid ID (Aadhaar/Passport/Driving License) are necessary for the interview. There is no application fee.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)	Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Bioinformatics / Medical Genetics	Post Graduate degree obtained in the first division along with a valid NET/GATE score or an M.Tech achieved in the first division.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)	Polymer Science & Technology / Polymer Science / Polymer Chemistry / Chemistry	B.E or B.Tech degree in the first division with a valid NET/GATE score, or an M.Tech in the first division, or an M.Sc in the first division with a valid NET/GATE score.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)	Food Science & Technology / Food Technology / Food Science / Food Process Engineering / Food Science & Nutrition	Post Graduate degree in the first division with a valid NET/GATE score or an M.Tech in the first division.
