DSSSB Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2025 Vacancy Notification / Advertisement No. 04/2025 dsssbonline.nic.in: The Government of NCT of Delhi, through the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB), is inviting online applications from qualified Teaching Professionals for the recruitment of Assistant Teacher (Primary) across various departments of the Government of NCT of Delhi, as well as Autonomous and Local bodies. The online registration process for the DSSSB Assistant Teacher Primary 2025 will commence on 17th September and conclude on 16th October 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

Assistant Teacher (Primary) in Directorate of Education:

• A Senior Secondary education plus a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (OR) a Graduation degree along with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
• Successful completion of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) administered by the CBSE.
• Candidates must have passed Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, or English as a subject at the Secondary level.

Assistant Teacher (Primary) in New Delhi Municipal Council:

• Completion of 12th grade plus a two-year Diploma in Primary Education / Certificate Course in ETE / JBT / DIET / B.El.Ed.
• Candidates must have passed Hindi as a subject in the 10th grade.

Application Fee:

• The fee should be made through Online Payment Mode.
• Rs.100/- for General & OBC category candidates.
• No fee for SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Serviceman and Women candidates.

Selection Process:

The Delhi Assistant Teacher Primary selection on the basis of following steps:-

• One Tier Examination (Technical / Teaching) – 200 Marks (Exam Duration – 02 Hours)
• Documents Verification.

Exam Syllabus:

Section – A	MCQs of one mark each: 1. General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability 2. General Awareness 3. Arithmetical & Numerical Ability 4. English Language & Comprehension 5. Hindi Language & Comprehension (20 Marks each, 100 Questions: 100 Marks)
Section – B	MCQs of one mark each based on NCTE curriculum (including teaching methodology) required for the post (100 Questions: 100 Marks)
