How to Apply?
Eligible individuals can submit their applications online for the Eastern Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2025 via the official RRCER recruitment portal from 10th September 2025 (10:00 hrs) until 9th October 2025 (18:00 hrs).
Applicants are required to provide precise information, which includes:

Eligibility Criteria:
- Category-1 (Level-4/Level-5): Graduation or an equivalent qualification from a University/Institution recognized by the Government.
- Category-2 (Level-2/Level-3): Completion of 12th grade (+2 stage) or an equivalent qualification from a Board/Council/Institution acknowledged by the Government OR Completion of Matriculation along with a Course Completed Act Apprenticeship OR Attainment of 10th grade plus ITI or an equivalent qualification or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT.
- Category-3 (Level-1): Completion of 10th grade or an equivalent qualification OR ITI or an equivalent qualification OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT.
Age Limit:
- Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2025.
- No age relaxation (upper or lower) is permissible.
Pay Scale:
- Category-1 (Level-4/Level-5): PB-1 (Rs.5200-20200) with Grade Pay Rs.2400/2800 (Level-4 or Level-5 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC).
- Category-2 (Level-2/Level-3): PB-1 (Rs.5200-20200) with Grade Pay Rs.1900/2000 (Level-2 or Level-3 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC).
- Category-3 (Level-1): PB-1 (Rs.5200-20200) with Grade Pay Rs.1800 (Level-1 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC).
Minimum Sports Norms:
- Category-1: Represented India in the Olympic Games (Senior Category) or achieved at least 3rd place in the World Cup (Junior/Senior), World Championships (Junior/Senior), Asian Games (Senior), or Commonwealth Games (Senior).
- Category-2: Represented India in the World Cup (Junior/Senior), World Championships (Junior/Senior), Asian Games (Senior), or Commonwealth Games (Senior), OR secured at least 3rd place in the Commonwealth Championships (Junior/Senior), Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior), South Asian Federation (SAF) Games (Senior), or USIC (World Railway) Championships (Senior), OR attained at least 3rd place in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships, OR achieved at least 3rd place in National Games or All India Inter-University Championships, OR secured 1st place in the Federation Cup Championships (Senior).
