The EMRS Eklavya Modal Residential Schools Staff Selection Exam (ESSE) 2025 is conducted for the recruitment of Teachers (TGT, PGT, Miscellaneous Teachers), Principal, Vice Principal, Hostel Warden, Nurse, Driver, and various Non-Teaching Positions.
Candidates possessing a 3-year Integrated B.Ed / M.Ed Degree recognized by the NCTE are also eligible to apply for the PGT and TGT positions.
The official notification for the EMRS Vacancy 2025 was released on 19th September 2025. The online registration process for the EMRS Teaching and Non-Teaching Posts 2025 will commence on 19th September and conclude on 23rd October 2025.

How to Apply:
The EMRS Online Registration will be conducted via the National Testing Agency (NTA) Recruitment Portal (examinationservices.nic.in) or the official EMRS website emrs.tribal.gov.in.
Step 1: Registration for the Online Application Form – Candidates are required to input their personal information, generate an Application Number, and create a Password.
Step 2: Complete the Application Form – Candidates can log in using the system-generated Application Number and password. They must upload a scanned copy of their Recent Photograph, Signature, etc.
Step 3: Pay the examination fee using Net Banking, Debit, or Credit Card.
Eligibility Criteria:
Principal: A Master’s Degree along with a B.Ed. and 12 years of experience.
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): A Master’s Degree or Post Graduate qualification in the relevant subject plus a B.Ed.
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): Completion of a four-year integrated degree program from a Regional College of Education under NCERT or another NCTE recognized institution in the relevant subject (OR) a Bachelor’s Honours Degree in the relevant subject. The candidate must have studied the necessary subjects for at least 2 years during the 3-year degree program. (OR) A Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject.
Art Teacher: A degree in Fine Arts or Crafts (OR) a B.Ed. degree specializing in Fine Arts.
Music Teacher: A Bachelor’s Degree with a focus on Music.
Physical Education Teacher: A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education.
Librarian: A degree in Library Science (OR) a degree accompanied by a Diploma in Library Science. Proficiency in English and Hindi or a regional language is required.
Staff Nurse: A degree in Nursing or an equivalent qualification, registered as a Nurse or Nurse Mid-wife (RN or RM) with any State Nursing Council, and a minimum of 2.5 years of experience in a hospital with at least 50 beds.
Hostel Warden: Completion of an integrated degree program from a Regional College of Education under NCERT or another NCTE recognized institution in the relevant subject (OR) a Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
Accountant: A degree in Commerce (B.Com).
Junior Secretariat Assistant: Completion of Senior Secondary / 10+2 / 12th Class and possessing a minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi.
