Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2026: Registration Window Closes Soon

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has issued the notification for the recruitment of Haryana Police Constables for the year 2026. A total of 5,500 vacancies have been announced by the HSSC. Interested candidates may visit the official website to submit their applications for the position.

The available posts consist of male constables (general duty), female constables (general duty), and male constables for the Government Railway Police (GRP). The online application process commenced on January 11 and will conclude on January 25.

Only those candidates who have successfully passed the HSSC Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Group C are permitted to apply. The commission has indicated that there is no application fee required for any category.

Eligibility Criteria:

Individuals wishing to participate in the Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2026 must have completed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.

Additionally, candidates are required to have studied Hindi or Sanskrit at least up to the matriculation level. To qualify for this recruitment, candidates must be at least 18 years old and not older than 25 years as of January 1, 2026. Selection Process:

Candidates will initially be shortlisted based on their CET Group C scores. Those shortlisted will then be invited to participate in the Physical Measurement Test (PMT), where height and chest measurements will be assessed according to the prescribed standards. Candidates who pass the PMT will be required to take the Physical Screening Test (PST), which will consist of a running test.
