The ICAR-National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources (NBPGR) in New Delhi is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the roles of Junior Research Fellow, Senior Research Fellow, and Young Professional in various externally funded projects. Educational Qualifications:
- Young Professional-II: Master’s in Biotechnology/ Agriculture/ Botany/ Genetics/ Plant Sciences/ Life Sciences or 4-year Professional Graduate degree in Agricultural Sciences/ Biotechnology/ related fields.
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Master’s in Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Plant Breeding/ Botany/ Life Sciences or related fields, or 4/5-years Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology. Must have qualified NET/GATE or similar national-level exam.
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Master’s in relevant fields with 4/5-year Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of research experience (OR) Postgraduate in Basic Sciences with 3-year Bachelor’s + 2-year Master’s + NET/GATE qualification and 2 years of research experience.
Age Limit:
- The Upper Age Relaxation – 05 years for Women / SC / ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PwD.
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): 35 years
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF): 35 years
- Young Professional-II: 21 to 45 years
