Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Senior Research Assistant. The role is open for a research project at IIM Lucknow titled ‘Platform Cooperatives and Knowledge Commons: Synthesis, Framework, and Findings from case studies (Part Il)’. The deadline to submit the applications by December 31, 2025.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should possess a postgraduate degree in Economics or Social Sciences from a recognized institution or university, achieved through regular study, with a minimum of 60 percent marks. Additionally, candidates must have at least two years of relevant experience.

Salary

The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs 50,000 plus HRA (consolidated). They will also be reimbursed for travel and accommodation expenses incurred during fieldwork.

Job Description

The chosen candidate will be tasked with conducting field surveys, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions with stakeholders from various organizations. Responsibilities include transcribing and translating interview data, analyzing it using coding software, and drafting reports. This research is conducted on a pan-India basis, necessitating extensive travel to interview stakeholders from the focal organizations. Furthermore, the assistant will be responsible for data analysis and report writing.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in interviewing a diverse range of stakeholders from medium to large-sized organizations and analyzing interview data. Those with prior experience in qualitative research projects will have a competitive advantage.
