IIT Mandi Summer Internship 2026: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi is currently accepting applications for its Summer Internship Programme for 2026, targeting pre-final year undergraduate students as well as those pursuing postgraduate studies.
The institute will offer a stipend of Rs 10,000 per month for a maximum duration of two months. This internship is designed to provide practical research training utilizing a range of hardware and software analysis tools.
The registration deadline is set for March 30, and the internship will begin on May 25, 2026. Chosen candidates will collaborate under the guidance of faculty members from IIT Mandi in various research domains.

Who is Eligible for the Internship?
- Students from 68 institutes nationwide that have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIT Mandi are qualified to apply. Candidates can verify if their institution is part of the MoU list here.
Required Educational Qualification
- Students in their penultimate year of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or in the first year of any postgraduate (PG) program are eligible to submit an application.
- The summer internship program is designed to familiarize undergraduate and postgraduate students with research, foster academic curiosity, and motivate them to consider careers in teaching and research.
