How to Apply:

Eligible candidates are required to apply exclusively ONLINE via the official portal. Submission of a hard copy is also compulsory.

• Step 1: Access the apply online link starting from 20 December 2025.
• Step 2: Register and accurately complete the online application form.
• Step 3: Upload the necessary documents (photograph, signature, certificates, etc.).
• Step 4: Remit the application fee online (if applicable).
• Step 5: Ensure the online application is submitted by 20 January 2026 (or by 02 February 2026 for Institute Engineer).
• Step 6: Dispatch the printed hard copy along with all documents to the Recruitment Cell, James Thomason Building, IIT Roorkee, Roorkee-247667 (Uttarakhand) by 30 January 2026.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Institute Engineer: A first-class Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering, along with a minimum of 15 years of experience, which must include 8 years as an Executive Engineer in GP Rs.6600 or higher.
• Technical Officer (Level-III): An M.Tech or MCA (IInd class) in Computer Science with 7 years of relevant experience, or a B.Tech (IInd class) in Computer Science with 9 years of relevant experience.
• Deputy Registrar (Direct): A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks, plus relevant experience as an Assistant Professor, in research institutions, or 5 years as an Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent position.
• Deputy Registrar (Deputation): Officers from Central or State Government or Autonomous bodies holding an analogous position, or those with 5 years of regular service in a lower grade.
• Executive Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical): A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, accompanied by the necessary experience.
• Medical Officer (Psychiatry/Gynaecology): An MD or MS in the relevant discipline, or a PG Diploma with 2 years of experience in a recognized hospital.
• Assistant Registrar: A Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks and a strong academic record.
• Security Officer: A Commissioned Officer, DSP, or Assistant Commandant with 6 years of experience, or a Graduate with 15 years of supervisory experience in security; must be medically fit, capable of riding a motorcycle, and able to handle firearms.
