How to Apply:

Eligible and deserving sportspersons are required to submit their applications exclusively ONLINE via the official portal. Each candidate is permitted to submit only one application (although they may apply for multiple positions).

• Step 1: Navigate to www.incometaxmumbai.gov.in and access the Sports Recruitment section.
• Step 2: Click on the online application link (which will be available starting from 07.01.2026).
• Step 3: Register and complete the application form with your personal, educational, and sports information.
• Step 4: Upload self-attested documents, including: Photo, Age Proof, Education Certificates, Sports Certificates (in DoPT format), Caste/PwBD/NOC (if applicable), and Aadhaar.
• Step 5: Pay the online fee of Rs.200/- and ensure submission before 31 January 2026. Remember to take a printout.

Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality: The individual must be a citizen of India.
  • Educational Qualification:
• Stenographer Grade-II: Completion of 12th grade or an equivalent qualification.
• Tax Assistant: A Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent qualification.
• Multi-Tasking Staff: Completion of 10th grade or an equivalent qualification.
  • Sports Eligibility: Recognized achievements in designated sports until 07.01.2026. Priority will be given according to DoPT guidelines: International representation > National medals > Inter-University > Khelo India > School Games, etc.
