Indian Army SSC Tech Recruitment 2025: Online Application for 379 Officer Positions, Notification

The Indian Army is seeking online applications from qualified unmarried male and female engineering graduates for the 66th Short Service Commission (Tech) Men Course and the 66th Short Service Commission (Tech) Women Course, which will begin in April 2026. This recruitment initiative intends to fill over 379 vacancies. Online registration will be available from July 16, 2025, to August 14, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

Post	Eligibility Conditions
SSCW (Non Tech) – Widows	Graduation/Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Age Limit: Maximum 35 years. Applicable only for Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who died in harness.
SSC (Tech) – 66th Men and Women	B.E./B.Tech in any Engineering stream with a passing certificate from a recognized University. Candidates in the final year of Engineering degree must submit proof of passing with all semester/year marksheets by 01/04/2026 and produce the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the start of training at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Unmarried Male and Female candidates. Age Limit: 20 to 27 years.

• Captain: Rs.61,300 – Rs.1,93,900 (Level-10B)
• Colonel: Rs.1,30,600 – Rs.2,15,900 (Level-13)

• Lieutenant: Rs.56,100 – Rs.1,77,500 (Level-10)
• Lieutenant Colonel: Rs.1,21,200 – Rs.2,12,400 (Level-12A)
• Lieutenant General (HAG Scale): Rs.1,82,200 – Rs.2,24,100 (Level-15)
