IP University Admissions 2026-27: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has commenced admissions for the academic year 2026-27 and has revealed the launch of 24 new academic programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The application process for admission will begin on February 2.
The admission brochures for undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs were unveiled at an event held at the India International Centre (IIC) by Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood and GGSIPU Vice-Chancellor Professor Mahesh Verma.

Approximately 40,000 seats are available across the university’s schools and affiliated institutions. Among these, about 4,300 seats are allocated to university schools and centres of excellence. The university offers more than 230 undergraduate and postgraduate programs, in addition to PhD programs across 22 academic disciplines.

The 24 newly introduced programs are designed to align with emerging and industry-relevant fields, such as artificial intelligence, robotics, data science, law, medicine, design, and special education. Furthermore, GGSIPU has incorporated nine new affiliated colleges into its network and has announced the establishment of an offshore campus in Guyana.
