• Step 1: Access the JKSSB portal (jkssb.nic.in) starting from 19th January 2026 and register using a valid email address and mobile number.
• Step 2: Complete the online application form by providing personal, educational, and other necessary information.
• Step 3: Upload scanned images of your photograph, signature, and any required certificates/documents.
• Step 4: Remit the application fee online and ensure the form is submitted by 17th February 2026. It is advisable to print a copy of the submitted application for your records.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The individual must be a resident of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
• The minimum educational qualification required is Matriculation (10th Pass) from a recognized Board.
• The physical standards and endurance criteria are outlined in Annexure “B” of the official notification.

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025):

• General Category: 18 to 28 years
• In-service Police Personnel: 18 to 30 years
• SPOs / Volunteer Home Guards (VHGs): 18 to 40 years
• Age relaxation applicable as per J&K reservation rules for reserved categories.
