Metro Railway Kolkata has announced the recruitment of 128 Act Apprentices across various trades in accordance with the Apprentices Act of 1961. Eligible Indian Nationals who have completed Matriculation and possess an ITI in the relevant trade may submit their applications online via the official apprenticeship portal from December 23, 2025, to January 22, 2026.

How to Apply:

• Step 1: Access the official apprenticeship portal at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in starting from 23rd December 2025.
• Step 2: If you are not already registered, sign up as an Apprentice using your Aadhaar information.
• Step 3: Look for the establishment “Metro Railway Kolkata” and submit your application for the chosen trade.
• Step 4: Upload scanned versions of your recent photograph, signature, 10th-grade mark sheet, ITI certificate, community certificate (if relevant), and other necessary documents.
• Step 5: If required, pay the application fee online and ensure the form is submitted by 22nd January 2026.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Achieved Matriculation (10th Class) or an equivalent qualification with at least 50% overall marks (excluding Mathematics and Science subjects where marks are not taken into account).
• Obtained a National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the specified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.

Age Limit:

• Minimum: 15 years
• Maximum: 24 years (as on 01-01-2026)
• Relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC-NCL, 10 years for PwBD
