National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) Specialist Recruitment 2025-26
The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), a premier all-India Apex Organization fully owned by the Government of India, has issued the official notification for Specialist Recruitment 2025-26. NABARD is inviting online applications from qualified Indian citizens for the appointment of 6 Specialists on a contractual basis for its Head Office located in Mumbai, specifically in the RMSMED, DCAS, and DMFI departments. The available positions include Climate Change Specialist, IT Specialist, Head – Rural Tech and Innovations, Head – Data & Impact Evaluation, Head – Finance, Compliance and Commercialization, and E-Commerce Specialist.
The NABARD Specialist Recruitment 2025-26 Notification was released on 13th October 2025, and the online application form will be accessible from 13th October to 28th October 2025. Candidates who are interested and meet the eligibility criteria are advised to thoroughly review the detailed NABARD notification prior to completing the application form.
The NABARD Online Registration will be conducted through the official NABARD website (www.nabard.org) using the IBPS portal. The steps for the NABARD Vacancy Online Registration Process are as follows:-
Step 1: Application Registration – Candidates must scan and upload their Photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm), Signature (in black ink), Left thumb impression (on white paper with black/blue ink), and a Handwritten declaration (on white paper with black ink). They should then enter their personal details and complete the registration.
Step 2: Complete the Application Form – Candidates should log in and fill in the required details, as well as upload the necessary documents.
Step 3: The final step is to pay the Application fee online. Candidates must submit the Application Form on or before the closing date. Editing of the application is permitted until 28.10.2025.
Eligibility Criteria:
Climate Change Specialist – Mitigation: Master’s Degree in Renewable Energy, Energy Engineering, Climate Science, Sustainable Development. Additional certifications in renewable energy/carbon management advantageous. Min. 12 years’ experience with 4 years in climate change mitigation projects.
IT Specialist (Carbon Finance Cell): Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Applications/IT/Computer Science. Additional in Data Science/Project Management/Public Policy & Technology advantageous. Min. 8 years total experience with 5 years in IT development/project management.
Head – Rural Tech and Innovations: Masters’ in Agri Business Management/Rural Technology/Engineering (Electronics/Telecom/Electrical/Mechanical/Computer/Agriculture/Food Processing). Min. 10 years in technology transfer/rural innovation/agri-tech.
Head – Data & Impact Evaluation: Masters in Development Studies/Statistics/Data Science/Economics/Computer Science/Agriculture Economics. Min. 10 years in monitoring/impact evaluation for rural development/technology programmes.
Head – Finance, Compliance and Commercialization: CA/MBA/PGDM (Marketing/Finance/Rural Management/Agri-Business). Min. 10 years in market development/rural finance/value chain facilitation.
E-Commerce Specialist: Graduate/Post Graduate with specialisation in Marketing (E-marketing/online/social media preferred). Min. 4-5 years in Key account management; ONDC and E-Commerce sector expert.
