The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) of North Central Railway, located in Prayagraj, has issued the official announcement for recruitment under the Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the Year 2025-26
The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), North Central Railway, Prayagraj, has released the official notification for recruitment against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the Year 2025-26. RRC invites online applications from eligible Indian Sports Persons for filling up of 46 posts (05 posts in Pay Level – 4/5, 16 posts in Pay Level – 2/3 & 25 posts in Pay Level – 1) in various sports disciplines against Sports Quota on North Central Railway. These posts are open to all eligible candidates fulfilling the prescribed norms.
The NCR Sports Quota 2025 online application form will be available from 3rd October to 2nd November 2025. Interested and eligible candidates must carefully read the detailed NCR notification before filling out the application form.
The NCR Online Registration will be conducted via the RRC Prayagraj Portal (examerp.com/sports/). The steps for the NCR Sports Quota Online Registration Process are as follows:-
Eligible candidates should apply online through RRC Prayagraj Portal (examerp.com/sports/) from October 2025.
The Candidates should ensure that their Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth should exactly match as recorded in Matriculation or equivalent certificate. The Candidates are advised to indicate their active mobile number and valid e-mail ID.
The candidates are required to upload scanned copy of Signature, Color Photograph and other required documents.
Submit Application Form on or before closing date.

Passed 12th (+2 stage) OR its equivalent examination OR Pass Matriculation from recognized Board Plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship OR Passed Matriculation from recognized Board plus ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT OR Passed Matriculation from recognized Board plus Diploma approved by Recognized Institution. Educational Qualification must be from Recognized Institutions.

Completed 10th grade or an equivalent examination, or possess an ITI, or hold a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) issued by NCVT. Educational qualifications must be obtained from recognized institutions.

(A) Represented the Country in the World Cup (Junior/ Youth/ Senior Category)/ World Championships (Junior/ Senior Category)/ Asian Games (Senior Category)/ Commonwealth Games (Senior Category)/ Youth Olympics/ Champions Trophy (Hockey)/ Davis Cup (Tennis) OR Thomas/ Uber Cup (Badminton) OR (B) At least 3rd position in the Commonwealth Championship (Junior/ Senior Category/ Asian Championship/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category)/South Asian Federation Games (Senior Category)/ USIC (World Railways) Championship (Senior Category)/World University Games OR (C) At least 3rd Position in Senior/ Youth/ Junior National Championships OR (D) At least 3rd position in National Games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association OR (E) At least 3rd position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities OR (F) 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior category).

(A) Represented the Country in Commonwealth Championship (Junior/Senior) OR Asian Championship/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior) OR South Asian Federation Games (senior) OR USIC (World Railways) Championship (Senior Category) OR World University Games OR (B) At least 3rd position in Federation Cup Championships (senior category) OR (C) Represented a State or Equivalent Unit, except in Marathon and Cross-country with at least 8th position in Senior National Championships only.
Age Limit:
Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2026. Candidates born between 02/01/2001 and 01/01/2008 (both days inclusive) should only apply. No age relaxation shall be permissible.
