Northeast Frontier Railway Recruitment Notification of Sports Quota 2025-26: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has issued Employment notification for recruitment of 56 Sports Quota Vacancies. Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment of Sports Persons (Men and Women) through Open Advertisement against various sports disciplines. The closing date for submission of online applications is 15th October 2025.
Eligible Interested candidates may apply online through NFR Recruitment Portal (nfr-recruitment.in) from 20th November 2024.
The Candidates must provide an active mobile number and valid email ID in their online application and keep them active throughout the recruitment process, as important information will be sent via email/SMS and uploaded on the website.
The candidates are required to upload their recent colour passport photograph, signature and all other required documents.
The closing date for registration of online applications is 15/10/2025.

No age relaxation in lower or upper age limit will be permissible.

Category-A: Olympic Games (Senior Category). Category-B: World Cup (Junior/Senior Category), World Championships (Junior/ Senior Category), Asian Games (Senior Category), Commonwealth Games (Senior Category). Category-C: Commonwealth Championships (Junior/Senior Category), Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category), South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category), USIC (World Railways) Championship (Senior Category).

Selection Process:
Trial of Sports Performance.
Interview and Assessment of Sports Achievement, Educational Qualification etc.
