Railway Driver Jobs Recruitment for 2025 – Online Applications Accepted Until May 11, 2025. The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) issued a notification on April 12, 2025, for the recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP), offering a total of 9,970 positions across various RRBs. Indian citizens who have completed at least the 10th grade and possess an ITI qualification are eligible to submit their applications online via the RRB Apply Portal. The selection process for the RRB Driver Positions in 2025 will include Computer Based Tests, a Computer Based Aptitude Test, Document Verification, and a Medical Examination.

How to Apply Railway Driver Recruitment 2025 ?

• Eligible candidates must submit their applications exclusively through the RRB Application Portal (rrbapply.gov.in).
• Candidates are required to “Register an Account” and provide details such as their mobile number, email address, full name, parents’ names, gender, nationality, date of birth, matriculation roll number, matriculation certificate serial number, certificate issuance date, and e-KYC information.
• Once the online application is fully completed and the necessary fee is paid, candidates may edit or update certain details—excluding the 12 fields entered during account creation and the selected RRB—by paying a non-refundable modification fee of Rs.250/- per instance.
• This option is available from May 14, 2025, to May 23, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Matriculation / SSLC Pass + ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Fitter, Electrician, Instrument
  Mechanic, Millwright/ Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio & TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature & Coil Winder, Mechanic (Diesel), Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration & Air- Conditioning Mechanic.
• Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in relevant trades.
• Matriculation / SSLC plus three years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering
• Combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines from a recognised Institution in lieu of ITI.
