Railway Ticket Examiner Job Description – All commercial personnel are required to:

• Be knowledgeable about the applicable rules and regulations specified in tariffs/manuals.
• Remain vigilant, prompt, helpful, courteous, and accommodating.
• Provide accurate information or guide inquirers to the appropriate official who can assist.
• Ensure the comfort of all passengers, particularly women and children traveling without male companions.
• Closely monitor traffic movement and propose methods to enhance the flow of traffic for the railways.
• Pay particular attention to the overall cleanliness of platforms, refreshment areas, waiting rooms, waiting halls, bathrooms, lavatories, etc.
• Clearly state their names and job titles without reluctance.
• Refrain from accepting or requesting tips.
• Avoid being under the influence of alcohol while on duty.
• Not smoke on station platforms while on duty or in uniform.
• Arrive for duty punctually as required.
• Wear a clean uniform when specified and display a distinguishing number badge, armlet, headgear when provided, and maintain a smart appearance.

How to Apply:

Eligibility Criteria:
