Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Office Attendant Recruitment 2026
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued a notification regarding the recruitment of Office Attendant positions for the Panel Year 2025. Applications are being accepted from qualified candidates for a total of 572 Office Attendant roles across various RBI offices. The selection process will consist of a competitive Online Test, followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
Candidates who have completed their 10th grade are eligible to apply online from 15th January 2026 until 04th February 2026. Eligible candidates are required to apply exclusively ONLINE via the RBI portal. No alternative submission methods will be permitted. DigiLocker integration is provided for optional document access.
Step 1: Navigate to opportunities.rbi.org.in or use the provided link starting from 15 January 2026.
Step 2: Select “Recruitment for the post of Office Attendant – PY 2025” → New Registration.
Step 3: Complete the application form with precision, choose one Office, and upload the scanned Photograph, Signature, etc.
Step 4: Make the online payment of the fee (if applicable).
Step 5: Ensure submission before 04 February 2026. Retain a printout of the application and e-receipt for your records.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Successfully completed the 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) from the relevant State/UT under the Regional Jurisdiction of the Recruiting Office to which application has been made. The Candidate must be an undergraduate as of 01.01.2026 (Graduates and those with higher qualifications are not eligible).
Local Language Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in the local language of the State/UT (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in accordance with the Office applied for.
Age Limit
Minimum: 18 Years
Maximum: 25 Years (as on 01.01.2026) – Candidates born not earlier than 02.01.2001 and not later than 01.01.2008
Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD and others as per Government rules.

Starting Basic Pay: Rs.24,250/- per month in the scale of Rs.24250 – 840(4) – 27610 – 980(3) – 30550 – 1200(3) – 34150 -1620(2) – 37390 – 1990(4) – 45350 – 2700(2) – 50750 – 2800(1) – 53550
Initial Monthly Gross Emoluments (approx.): Rs.46,029/- (without HRA) plus other allowances as admissible.
