
The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has prolonged the registration period for its online Diploma Course in Teaching of Science at the Middle Stage (Grades 6-8). This programme is provided by the Department of Education in Science and Mathematics (DESM), NCERT, located in New Delhi.
Candidates who are interested and meet the eligibility criteria can visit the official NCERT website to enroll in the programme. The registration deadline for the course is December 28, 2025, with the course commencing on December 29, 2025. The fee for the course is Rs.2,000.
This 40-week flexible online course is tailored for science teachers nationwide, aiming to enhance conceptual understanding, refine teaching methods, and improve classroom practices. Teachers will have 24/7 access to learning materials and can complete modules at their own pace.
