Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 Snapped Testing Abroad

Royal Enfield’s forthcoming Continental GT 750 has been observed undergoing tests abroad once more, providing enthusiasts with a clearer insight into what the brand is preparing for its next significant cafe racer. This latest series of spy images showcases a model devoid of the quarter fairing that was present on the previous India-spec test mule, strongly indicating that Royal Enfield is developing multiple variants—some equipped with fairings and others without—to accommodate various rider preferences.

The styling remains distinctly retro, reflecting the design language of the Continental GT 650. The GT 750 test motorcycle is equipped with a round LED headlight, clip-on handlebars, a sculpted fuel tank, a chrome-finished crankcase, and dual exhausts. The minimalist tail section upholds the cafe racer ethos, while the larger engine casing confirms the inclusion of a new 750cc parallel-twin engine. This engine is anticipated to be a bored-out variant of the existing 648cc motor, preserving the familiar layout, cooling fins, and crankcase design. By enhancing its current platform instead of developing an entirely new architecture, Royal Enfield seeks to maintain brand identity while providing an upgrade in performance.

One of the most significant enhancements is the dual front disc brake arrangement. This represents a considerable advancement over the single-disc setup of the 650 twins and indicates the brand’s intention to pair the increased power output with improved stopping capability. With the expected rise in displacement and torque, the upgraded braking system will be vital for rider safety and control. Another noticeable modification is the instrument cluster. The Continental GT 750 seems to feature a single-pod console, replacing the twin-pod configuration that has traditionally characterized the GT series. This change signifies a bold shift from one of the model’s most recognizable design elements, suggesting that Royal Enfield is modernizing the cockpit while still preserving the bike’s classic charm.

Adding to the excitement, Royal Enfield had earlier showcased a race-spec version of the bike, called the Continental GT-R 750, at Motoverse 2025. This performance-focused variant gave enthusiasts a glimpse of the brand’s racing ambitions. The Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 is expected to arrive in India by early 2027, with an estimated ex-showroom price of around Rs.4.5 lakh.
