Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC-NCL: 3 years, PwBD (UR): 10 years, PwBD (OBC-NCL): 13 years, PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years, Ex-Servicemen: Military service + 3 years & Others (e.g., Widows/Divorced Women): As per rules.
Educational Qualification (as on 28/07/2025):
Technician Grade-I Signal: Degree/ Diploma in Engineering (Electronics/ Telecommunication/Electrical).
Technician Grade-III: Matriculation (10th Pass) + ITI in relevant trade (e.g., Fitter, Welder, Electrician) from NCVT/SCVT or equivalent.
RRB Technician Selection Process:
Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective-type test with negative marking (1/3rd mark deducted per wrong answer). Separate CBTs for Pay Level-5 and Pay Level-2.
Document Verification (DV): Shortlisting at 1:1 ratio of vacancies based on CBT merit.
Medical Examination: Must meet medical standards (A3, B1, B2, C1) as per post.
