How to Apply for RRB Technician Recruitment 2025:

• Apply online through official RRB websites (listed in Para 16.0) from 28/06/2025 to 28/07/2025 (23:59 hrs).
• Create an account using Aadhaar authentication (recommended) or other valid Photo ID.
• Select one RRB per Pay Level and indicate Zonal Railway/Post preferences (refer to Annexure-B/C).
• Upload live photograph (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, JPEG, 20-50 KB) and signature (JPEG, 10-40 KB).
• PwBD candidates requiring scribe must submit Annexure V (D)/V(G) and provide scribe details (11/08/2025 to 15/08/2025).
• Pay the application fee online by 30/07/2025.
• Use the modification window (01/08/2025 to 10/08/2025) for corrections (except account details/RRB choice).
• Take a printout of the application and fee receipt.

Technician Remuneration:

• Technician Grade-I Signal: Pay Level-5 (Rs.29,200 initial pay, 7th CPC).
• Technician Grade-III: Pay Level-2 (Rs.19,900 initial pay, 7th CPC).

RRB Technician Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit (as on 01/07/2025):
  – Technician Grade-I Signal: 18-33 years (born between 02/07/1992 and 01/07/2007).
  – Technician Grade-III: 18-30 years (born between 02/07/1995 and 01/07/2007).
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC-NCL: 3 years, PwBD (UR): 10 years, PwBD (OBC-NCL): 13 years, PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years, Ex-Servicemen: Military service + 3 years & Others (e.g., Widows/Divorced Women): As per rules.

Educational Qualification (as on 28/07/2025):

• Technician Grade-I Signal: Degree/ Diploma in Engineering (Electronics/ Telecommunication/Electrical).
• Technician Grade-III: Matriculation (10th Pass) + ITI in relevant trade (e.g., Fitter, Welder, Electrician) from NCVT/SCVT or equivalent.

RRB Technician Selection Process:

• Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective-type test with negative marking (1/3rd mark deducted per wrong answer). Separate CBTs for Pay Level-5 and Pay Level-2.
• Document Verification (DV): Shortlisting at 1:1 ratio of vacancies based on CBT merit.
• Medical Examination: Must meet medical standards (A3, B1, B2, C1) as per post.

RRB Technician Application Fee:

• Payment Mode: Online (Net Banking, UPI, Credit/Debit Cards).
• General/OBC: Rs.500 (Rs.400 refunded after CBT appearance).
• SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/EBC/Minority/Women/Transgender: Rs.250 (fully refunded after CBT appearance).
• Modification Fee: Rs.250 per correction (non-refundable, applicable 01/08/2025 to 10/08/2025).
