December School Holidays 2025: Students in Classes 9 through 12 will enjoy their break from December 11 until February 22, 2026.
Puducherry Holiday
Puducherry’s Home and Education Minister A. Namassivayam announced on Sunday that all schools, including both private and government-aided institutions, throughout the four regions of the Union Territory will be closed on December 1, 2025. This closure has been instituted as a precautionary measure due to the anticipated heavy rainfall resulting from Cyclone Ditwah.
Jammu and Kashmir Holidays
The School Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir has announced winter vacations for all schools located in the winter zone of Jammu, as well as for government and recognized private schools up to the higher secondary level in the Kashmir division.
