Skoda has revealed the updated Kushaq facelift in India, showcasing a variety of notable design and feature enhancements both inside and outside. Although pricing information has not yet been released, the revamped SUV is set to enter the market in March. This facelift introduces multiple improvements over the existing model, representing a significant advancement in styling, comfort, and technology.
Front
The Skoda Kushaq facelift presents several eye-catching updates to its front profile. It now boasts a wider grille adorned with chrome-lined slats, sleeker surrounds, and a new light strip inspired by the Kodiaq. The LED headlights have been reimagined with eyebrow-style DRLs, replacing the previous L-shaped signature. The fog lamps are now more compact and positioned lower, while the updated bumper features a larger air dam and a ridged skid plate, imparting a bolder, more dynamic appearance to the SUV.
Rear
The most prominent update on the Skoda Kushaq facelift is found at the rear. The SUV now incorporates connected LED tail-lamps, replacing the split design of the previous model, which provides it with a wider and more contemporary stance. This is complemented by familiar features such as the roof-mounted spoiler and shark-fin antenna, which continue to enhance its sporty allure. The traditional tail-lamp configuration has been replaced with a sleek LED light bar that integrates illuminated ‘SKODA’ branding along with sequential indicators, adding a touch of luxury. Additionally, the reflectors have been relocated into the rear bumper, which has been redesigned with additional cladding and a sturdy skid plate, mirroring the refreshed front fascia for a more unified design.

Interior
The Kushaq facelift continues to feature its well-known layered dashboard design, with enhancements primarily aimed at new upholstery and a revised black-and-beige color scheme. Skoda also asserts that the boot capacity has increased to 491 litres, which is 106 litres more than the previous model. Nevertheless, as the shape of the luggage compartment remains mostly the same, this measurement likely indicates the space up to the roof rather than just to the parcel shelf.

New Colours
With this facelift, Skoda has broadened the Kushaq’s color options by introducing new Red, Grey, and Green hues, while still keeping the popular colors that were available in the earlier version.
Powertrain
The Kushaq facelift maintains the existing 115hp 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and 150hp 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines from the previous model. However, the smaller engine’s 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission has been upgraded to a new 8-speed automatic transmission, which provides smoother operation and enhanced efficiency.
