The South Central Railway (SCR), along with the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) Secunderabad, which operates under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, is inviting online applications from qualified Indian citizens for the recruitment of 61 Group ‘C’ positions under the Sports Quota via Open Advertisement for the year 2025-26 across various divisions of SCR. SCR Sports Quota Recruitment 2025-26 – 61 Group ‘C’ Posts
The SCR Online Registration will be conducted via the RRC SCR Recruitment Portal. The steps for the SCR Sports Quota Online Registration Process are as follows:-
Step 1: Eligible candidates must apply online through the RRC SCR Portal (iroams.com/rrc_scr_sports2025) starting from 25th October 2025.
Step 2: Complete the basic information form, which includes Sports Details, Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, Community, Email, Mobile, etc. Additionally, upload your Photograph, Signature, LTI, and necessary documents (such as Sports Certificates and Educational Proofs).
Step 3: If applicable, pay the application fee using the online payment gateway. Ensure to submit the application form by 24th November 2025, no later than 23:59 Hours. Remember to note the registration number and password that will be sent to you via email/SMS.
Eligibility Criteria:
For GP Rs.1800: Matriculation (10th pass) or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
For GP Rs.1900/2000: 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination.
Minimum Sports Norms as per Category (1) or (2) detailed below.
Age Limit:
Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01.01.2026 (born not earlier than 02.01.2001 and not later than 01.01.2008).
Minimum Sports Norms:
Category (1): Represented India in Olympic Games (Senior) or 3rd position in World Cup/World Championships (Jr/Sr)/Asian Games/Commonwealth Games (Sr).
Category (2): Represented India in World Cup/World Championships (Jr/Sr)/Asian Games/Commonwealth Games (Sr) OR 3rd in Commonwealth Championships (Jr/Sr)/Asian Championships/Asia Cup (Jr/Sr)/SAF Games (Sr)/USIC (Sr) OR 3rd in National Championships (Sr/Youth/Jr)/National Games (IOA) OR 3rd in All India Inter-University (AIU) OR 1st in Federation Cup (Sr).
