SSC MTS and Havaldar City Slip: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published the city intimation slips for the SSC Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and CBIC Havaldar Examination 2025. Registered candidates can access their city slips by visiting the official website, ssc.gov.in. Those who have applied for the examination can now verify their assigned exam city and schedule for the computer-based test.

The SSC MTS and Havaldar examination is set to take place from February 4, 2026. Candidates were given the opportunity to choose their preferred exam slot between January 16 and January 25, 2026, after which the commission released the city intimation slips.

The city slip includes information such as the examination city and exam date. The admit cards will be issued separately at a later date. Candidates are encouraged to thoroughly check all details provided in the city slip to prevent any discrepancies prior to the examination.

The recruitment initiative aims to fill positions for Multi-Tasking Staff and Havaldar roles within the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and the Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN). A total of 7,948 vacancies are available across various ministries, departments, and offices of the Government of India.

According to the notification, SSC MTS Recruitment 2025 encompasses a total of 6,078 vacancies for candidates aged 18-25 years and 732 vacancies for candidates aged 18-27 years. Additionally, there are 1,138 vacancies available for the Havaldar position.

Selection Process And Exam Pattern

The selection process consists of a computer-based examination for all candidates. Individuals seeking the Havaldar position must also pass the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and the Physical Standard Test (PST). In the Physical Efficiency Test, male applicants are required to complete a 1,600-meter walk in 15 minutes, whereas female applicants must walk 1 kilometer in 20 minutes.
