Important guidelines for the UGC NET 2025 examination:

Candidates are required to arrive at the examination centre two hours prior to the start of the exam to complete the necessary frisking and registration procedures in a timely manner. The registration desk will close 30 minutes before the exam begins.

Candidates must enter the examination hall at the time specified on their admit card.

Upon the opening of the examination hall, candidates should take their seats immediately. If candidates fail to arrive on time due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic congestion or delays in public transport, they may miss important general instructions that will be announced in the exam rooms or halls.

Candidates must present their admit card, which should be downloaded or printed from the NTA website, upon request for entry into the exam hall. The test centre personnel are authorized to verify the identity of the candidates.

Any candidate who does not have a valid admit card will not be allowed to take the examination under any circumstances, as per the directive of the Centre Superintendent.

A designated seat corresponding to the Roll Number will be assigned to each candidate.

Candidates are required to locate and occupy only their designated seat. Should a candidate independently change rooms/halls or seats, other than the one assigned, their candidature will be revoked, and no appeals will be entertained regarding this matter.

Candidates must verify that the question paper displayed on the computer corresponds to the subject they selected as indicated on their admit card. If there is any discrepancy, candidates should consult the relevant invigilator.

Candidates may seek assistance from the Centre Superintendent or Invigilator in the room for any technical support, first aid emergencies, or any other inquiries during the examination.
