The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the official notification for the Indian Economic Service (IES) / Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Examination 2026. Candidates who meet the necessary Post-Graduate / Graduate qualifications are encouraged to thoroughly review the detailed notification prior to submitting their online applications.

How to Apply:

Candidates must submit their applications exclusively ONLINE via the UPSC website upsconline.nic.in. Applications submitted through any other method will not be considered.

• Step 1: Navigate to https://upsconline.nic.in and complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) process if you have not yet registered.
• Step 2: Log in and provide the necessary personal and educational information in the Common Application Form (CAF).
• Step 3: Finish the Examination Specific Module, choose your exam centre, and pay the fee if required.
• Step 4: Upload a scanned photograph, your signature (three instances on white paper), and any necessary certificates (such as Date of Birth, Qualifications, etc.).
• Step 5: Take a live photograph according to the provided guidelines.
• Step 6: Submit your application and print a copy for your records.
